Mitsubishi Electric Automation introduces the NZ2WL wireless LAN interface that improves connectivity and system configuration for OEMs and end-users in many industrial applications.The NZ2WL wireless LAN interface simplifies access to Mitsubishi Electric factory automation products and shortens the configuration and connection process at end-user facilities. The NZ2WL reduces installation costs when compared with traditional copper-based wiring while providing connectivity to most popular wireless technologies. The new LAN interface also offers increased data protection from external agencies thanks to enhanced encryption and security functions WPA2/WPA. ABB's EDP300 digital positioner offers single control solutions with added energy efficiency.

The all new PositionMaster from ABB, EDP300 digital positioner, offers single control solutions to suit any control valve with an air-driven actuator. The new unit features built-in intelligence that enables it to adapt to different valves at the push of a button. Designed for flexible mounting, the EDP300 can control linear or rotary actuators. The optional robust stainless steel housing enables use in corrosive environments. This makes it most suitable for applications from Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Refining and Energy. One of the key USP of the EDP300 is that users only need to stock one type of spare to satisfy any positioner failure. Another innovative feature of the EDP300 digital positioner includes partial stroke testing, which is used to check the function of emergency shutdown valves. The heart of the PositionMaster is its powerful pneumatics. Compressed air is generally 10 times more expensive than electricity and the new positioner needs only 0.03kg/h of compressed air to keep it in steady state.
