Mitsubishi Electric Automation introduces the NZ2WL wireless LAN interface that improves connectivity and system configuration for OEMs and end-users in many industrial applications. The NZ2WL wireless LAN interface simplifies access to Mitsubishi Electric factory automation products and shortens the configuration and connection process at end-user facilities. The NZ2WL reduces installation costs when compared with traditional copper-based wiring while providing connectivity to most popular wireless technologies. The new LAN interface also offers increased data protection from external agencies thanks to enhanced encryption and security functions WPA2/WPA. The NZ2WL is ideal for industrial applications such as packaging, mixing, filling, sealing, material handling devices at conveyor and zone control stations, machine tooling, solar tracking, data centers, water pumping and filtration. Some of the USP of the new wireless LAN interface is it allows plant layout alteration including addition of new assembly lines without any hassles. The NZ2WL also upgrades all exisiting factory automation PLC, HMI in the network to wireless with ease. Finally the NZ2WL eliminates huge amounts of wiring, streamlines workshops and improves productivity.
